I've been lazy with my updating. >.<

Anyway. Will post later, I'm going to Genting today and will be back tomorrow.

And the suayness continues..

Eh shit la, this is serious. So remember I said yesterday I went to OU to check out what I want to buy and I'm going back today? I saw these pair of shoes at Tangs Studio that I really really liked and I was going to buy it today. So the display one was a size 6, and I needed a 5. I asked for the shoe in my size, and guess what? It's totally sold out, and the only one left is the 6 on display. Suay! [I usually don't like Tangs shoes, but just this one, I liked the shoe, and they don't have the model I want anymore?? Sigh. Is there another Tangs in KL?]

So I hopped around OU and saw these pair of shoes at Pretty Fit. So sweet and cute. Summore the display shoe my size! So I asked the sales assistant to get me another pair, and again! Last pair was the display one. I would've taken it but the right shoe on display was horribly loose and discoloured. [Grrrrr]

Well. The consolation is, I got myself a really cute purse from Ripcurl [bloody display item summore, but it was in the glass cabinet and it's washable so I figured, what the hell], a magazine, a coin pouch from Converse and some eyeshadow. We got Wazir an ashtray which comes with a stand. It's really nice and the platform rotates when you press on it to lower the ash into the container. From Folio, and they only had 4 in stock; we got the last one. :) Also got him this model car he wanted.

So I'm happy. I still want that pair of shoes though. Bloody shoe shops. Sheesh. I guess it makes it harder because I am looking out for a certain design in the shoe. I'm looking for a shoe which has a heel cover, and the front is closed but has a little opening for the toe. The ankle side of the shoe is closed whilst the inside part of the shoe is open. Erm. I don't know if I am blabbering shit here but yeah you girls should know what I mean.

I need more shoes. Never mind. Scouted the whole OU liao, Mid V is next.

I'm sooo tired now! Mum is out dancing and I am stuck here and I can't go out with Wazir because Brynna is sleeping and I can't leave her here alone.

Suay la

So.. Yesterday was not my best day. Dad, Lay Kheng, Lay In, Brynna, my grandma and I went to Bukit Tinggi for a few hours, just for fun; to take my grandma out for some air. 1. Lay In and I accidentally dropped my poor Sony Cybershot T7 on the gravel on the hill and got it scratched. 2. Walking up and down the hills made me realize that I'm really not fit at all. I was panting by the time I got to the car. 3. Getting into the car, Lay Kheng accidentally closed the door of the Estima on my finger.

See? So unlucky right? But that's all ok. I just kecian my poor T7. I still love it all the same, and it works fine, thank God. Just the scratches disturb me. >.< Frus giler. Never mind. It's still my baby.

Anyway. Saturday dad finally took me out driving. I took the BMW cos it was the smallest car in the house [everyone else went out], apart from the Saga; but I didn't feel like I was up to diving manual just yet. Bloody scary la to drive such a big car. Damn dumb, learning at the driving institute use Kancil, so bloody small for what?? Dad directed me and I actually drove from Kepong to Jinjang.. [Geez, it's actually so damn near]. Eh but damn a lot of cars!

I went to Low Yat with Wazir and Jeff that day too. Anyway I just want to say thanks to Jimmy for helping me download the crack for the mac version of FM2005 for Wazir. It works like a gem. Now I've got my laptop back and Wazir's got the iBook.

Today I was really not in the mood to go to class so I went for one and cut one. I know I shouldn't have; but I couldn't help it. Went shopping at OU, it was nice. Got a pair of flip flops, and 3 racerback tees. Wazir got a couple of tees too. Tomorrow we're going back again. I'm looking forward to it. ;)

What are the things you enjoy, even when no one around you wants to go out and play?

Let's see. Most days if I'm just stuck at home with no class and no work [or I'm too lazy to do work], I wake up at about noon; sometimes earlier and sometimes later. Sleep is love. Honestly, there's nothing much to it. Give me a computer // laptop with internet connection, and a television; I'm satisfied. Oh, and a phone.

I actually don't enjoy going out alone. I hate shopping alone, it bores me. But I always enjoy a day out with Yen and Sun; they've stuck by me so long. Meeting up with old friends too, is really nice. Like the other day when I saw Jolene. And P. And Mae and stuffs. [okay I think I am deviating from the subject now. Oops.]

I know that I should find myself some more hobbies. I do have some, like cardcrafting, and making stuff out of polymer clay; just that recently I've been very lazy. It tends to get messy when it comes to art and craft, yanno? But I do enjoy it, it's very fun, doing things with my hands.

What lowers your stress // blood pressure // anxiety level? Make a list and post it on your blog.

1. Crying. Seriously. After crying I always feel better. But that doesn't mean that crying is good. I do it way too much.
2. Writing in my diary. Or sometimes in my blog. Outlet.
3. Shopping. Nothing beats the satisfaction of having a new item.
4. A nice chat with a close friend. Or with a friend I haven't talked to in a long time. Things like these make me feel so secure and appreciated.

Tag 5 friends and ask them to post it in theirs.

1. Azliza my latest blog link
2. Jolene <3
3. Yen <3 [if you aren't on hiatus]
4. David Narrowband
5. Leo my tech support advisor
Been having the urge to spend more time than usual with Wazir lately. So today before Choo's class we went to Mid V simply to scout for items we'd like to buy next week. After all, the Malaysian Nationwide Sale begins tomorrow. I wouldn't want to hit the stores anytime this weekend, though [or be anywhere near the shops, for that matter]. It'd be too crowded. Hard to find a parking lot, hard to get assistance from the sales assistant [especially when buying shoes.. Aiyoh!], hard to walk in the mall itself, long queues at the cashier counters... All really not worth the hassle. So I'm going to OU with Wazir on Tuesday morning instead. Aren't I brilliant?

I am getting used to using this Mac. I have like practically personalized it already. I've installed LimeWire to accomodate my downloading [Family Guy] habits, a couple of word games, MSN Messenger, and I'm this close to downloading Windows Media Player. I've already accustomed myself to pretty much all the basic Mac functions. Wazir still has my laptop; he's claimed it as his already. Hahaha.

Guess what?

Dickie cancelled our Bangkok trip. With no apology.

Am very geram right now but life goes on. But seriously, when he told the class, we were so pissed off we could've socked him in the face. Anyhow, we didn't do anything rash. His class was extremely boring, and after the 15 minute break he gave us, Daniel, Nadzmi, Adib, Wazir and I kind of got stuck in the cafe and we forgot to return to class. Well, of course, we didn't completely forget, but we remembered a little too late, and by that time, we couldn't be bothered anymore. So after class he comes to us and asks us individually what's wrong with us. Wtf??

First of all, he originally suggested going to Bali for his class, more than a month ago. But the class said that we'd rather go to Bangkok, since it'd cost less [after all, we are students]. So he agreed, and said he's get the plans done. But instead, he pushed all the planning and booking to our other lecturer Shereen; and kept delaying plans. Finally when we had everything settled and were all ready to book our air tickets, he comes and says it's cancelled.

I really don't like him very much.

We are consoling ourselves by going to Genting as a class next weekend. Shereen is coming along with us. It's going to be fun. Hope dad doesn't mind us using the apartment again.

1. I am sick and tired of reading blogs where people cannot SPELL properly. Is it so hard to say "hi" like a normal person, and not "hye"? Or "oh" instead of "owh"? Perhaps it's okay if you're a little kid and are in one of those phases where spelling things are lyk, so totally kewl, but ugh, it's really annoying. I know I have ranted about this time and time again, but I can't help it.

2. Is pushing the elevator button over and over again going to make it go up and down any faster? Sheesh. I never understood why some impatient people resort to pushing the button countless amounts of times when they are in a rush. The lift isn't going to come down or go up any faster than usual.

3. Malay guys whistling at me when I'm walking on the streets alone. I'm not saying malay guys only because I'm prejudiced, but I say it because generally other guys don't bother me. Chinese guys never bother me. Which brings me to ::

4. Certain Chinese bastards who, upon seeing me, recoil in shock when discovering that I am, in fact, Chinese too. No offense. Maybe it's an honest mistake to them, but to me it's fucking pissing off. I think all of you who know me well should know that I really hate it when people comment negatively about my skin colour. It's always been a sensitive issue with me but I have learned to like it.

5. The amount of horror movies there are nowadays. Horror movies give me nightmares so even though I like watching them, I've learnt to stay away from them. But it's so hard to avoid nowadays since there are so many horror movie trailers on tv now.

6. People in the LRT who lean on the bars in the middle. The bars are for people to hold onto, for crissakes, not for you to lean on. They take up so much space and sometimes, even though you are holding on to the handle, they still lean on it; thus making you feel so uncomfortable that you take your hand away anyway.

7. Drivers who don't signal. I used to walk to college a lot and it really pissed me off when drivers did not signal and when I crossed the road at a corner, they would suddenly turn and beep at me.

8. Getting my period in the middle of the night. Sucks big time, really.

Ok. There, I'm done ranting. I was just feeling a little jeeved. :P

I am such a lucky girl.

Yesterday I received my mid-semester evaluation grade from Choo and he gave me an A-, and he told me that I have improved a lot with my drafting. I'm very pleased with this but I hope I can keep it up.

Wazir has forgiven me for the stuff I have done and we are still as happy as ever.

The drama is over and now everything's back to being good.

Somehow today the iBook is unable to detect my wireless connection, so I got fed up with it and now I'm bumming off one of my neighbour's wireless networks instead. So sorry, whoever you are; but well.. Can't be that much harm, can it? :P In a way, I guess that's one of the benefits of living in a condominium. I'm sure loads of people with laptops and no wireless in their houses bum off my network when they're too lazy to plug their laptops in and dial-up.

Not looking forward to going back to college tomorrow to see Dickie and Choo. Haven't done any of my homework for either one of those classes so will have to slave away tomorrow. Hope to receive good news about the Bangkok trip.

Mae was in the area last night so I went to Starbucks to see her and her friends for a bit. I won't say much just in case she doesn't want me to. ;)

Been listening to Imogen Heap's Hide and Seek a lot.

Mmm, what you say?
Mm, that you only meant well? Well, of course you did.
Mmm, what you say?
Mm, that it's all for the best? Ah of course it is.
Mmm, what you say?
Mm, that it’s just what we need? And you decided this.
Mmm what you say?
What did she say?

Ransom notes keep falling out your mouth.
Mid-sweet talk, newspaper word cut-outs.
Speak no feeling, no I dont believe you.
You don't care a bit. You don't care a bit.

Ransom notes keep falling out your mouth.

Speak no feeling, no I don't believe you.

I got an iBook G4

Yeah. I wish. Truth is, Wazir and I swapped laptops temporarily. Finding *cough*pirated*cough* software for Macs is so tough, and he wanted to play games so being the *cough*perfect*cough* girlfriend that I am, I let him use my laptop for a while. Granted, using the Mac is rather frustrating for me since ::

1. I make sooooo damn many typos and have to keep correcting myself.
2. Capitalising is hard because the shift button is tiny ass.
3. That goes for the backspace button too.
4. Oh, that also goes especially for the enter button.
5. I can't find a delete button and I have to make the cursor go forward and delete everything using backspace all the time. Is there even a delete button? Hmmm.

But it doesn't matter to me, because I can get used to these things. As long as the computer has wireless internet [airport or whatever it's called], an internet browser, and adobe photoshop, I'm satisfied. This G4 is rather nifty actually. I really like the cute compactness of it.

Lol. Anyway, I wanted to post pictures today but then the pictures are all on my laptop so they'll have to wait for another day. Oh wait. I already uploaded them to photobucket. *hugs self* I am so smart for thinking ahead.

Here we go ::

Ex-school Sri Cempaka. I cannot believe I was so spoiled that I went to a school like this.

The swimming pool. Which no one liked to swim in because, well, swimming in school just wasn't very fun. I have memories of Encik Kamal the swimming instructor throwing me into the pool as a kid because I refused to go in. [Don't worry, I knew how to swim and he knew it.]

Yen and Sun posing in the newly renovated school canteen.

Another view. It looks so much more spacious since it's open air and everything.

Us in the car. Sun kept complaining that we hardly took pictures together. It's not a very nice picture of either one of us but wtf.

Of course there were other changes to the school like the science laboratories, staff rooms, lockers, and etc. But aiyoh, damn jakun if I were to take pictures of everything right?? Shit, why didn't Cempaka renovate everything when I was still in school? Looks so much nicer now. Blergh.

Today Aunty Mary from UK came over to stay with us for the weekend. Went to Mid V and mum got me a new pair of jeans. :) Yay. New stuff. I'm too broke to buy myself anything, honestly. Went to Souled Out and bumped into Yeong Shouh, Li Yeing, Jia Tien and Nisha. Was really nice to see them again, but did it have to be a day when I was too shit lazy to put on my contacts and make-up and everything? Sheesh.

Wazir stayed over last night and I had a great time with him. I always do. Dear, I love you so much and I promise I'll take good care of you.

Genting trip

15 July 2005 12:09 am 0 comments

I really enjoyed myself at Genting. The four of us -- Joe, Stacy, Wazir and I -- stayed at my family apartment; I thought it would be really dirty but all it needed was a bit of sweeping and wiping and it was clean again. Was nice of my dad to let me borrow it for a night. We didn't do much but walk around enjoying the nice weather and the company. It was a refreshing change from the hot, stuffy weather here in KL. We took a lot of pictures, will post some. Wazir and I finally took some nice pictures together. :)

I guess the downside to it was that everything costs shitloads. Crazy Genting. Entry to the outdoor park cost RM42 each, so we couldn't be bothered. Really. Meals were expensive, so we settled for instant noodles and hot milo most of the time. But I liked spending time with another couple; one that I know so well.

I heart you.

So that was our trip. Had a lot of fun; definitely something I'd like to do again. Today I went out with Yen and Sun. I have pictures, but they'll have to wait til tomorrow.

Last weekend I was at dad's. I came back to mum's on Monday and guess what?

She bought me a new halter top.

And it was the same halter top I saw when I was out with Mae.

I wanted to buy it. But I didn't have enough cash.

And my mum bought it for me!

Isn't it great having a mother who knows your taste?

I'm having steak and crabs for dinner tonight [Okay, that is a bit of a weird combi].

I'm staying at Wazir's tonight.

Then I'm going to Genting for a night.

I'm going to have fun.

Hahahaha.

[Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm on a one week break now. Then in 2 weeks I think I'm going to Bangkok.]

My weekend had its ups and downs but life is good now [Although I had to mop the floor and clean the bathrooms in order for mum to let me go out].

I know there's been a lack in posts, I've been experiencing connection problems. At my mum's something went wrong with the router so the wireless connection has been weaker than usual. At dad's last night Streamyx was down so I couldn't get online. Streamyx is annoying. If only TimeNet were available everywhere. But no.. We are left with no other option.

Things have been messy over the past few days. Yesterday was rather hectic, but things are alright now.

Oh, yes. The reason I bothered to post :: God bless all those affected by the bombings in London. I heard about it from my lecturer during class Thursday night and by the time I got home it was plastered all over the news. The world is not a safe place nowadays. :/

I just realized that I misread the five songs/five ringtones questions in the meme. I didn't see 5 songs. Oops, never mind.

Anyway. Just got back from OU. Went there to help Yen buy a necklace for her prom tomorrow night and ended up having dinner with old friends [Jassie, Eugene, Yu Jin, Yi Ting, Joanne Lee, Lilian, Chwen Ling, Yee Hong, Tit Hiang, William, Michelle, and of course, Yen] as well. Kind of made me realize that I'm kind of an outcast when it comes to Cempakan friends. I'm not saying that I didn't have friends at all and I was an outsider, but most people have their posse and I never had mine. I always had a good friend here and there but they'd all be from different posses [:P] and it'd be all weird. Anyway; never mind. I'm happy with myself and who I've become so who gives a shit..

I had to resist from shopping today because I promised Wazir I would; since next month we might probably be going to Bangkok. Oh, oh, I bumped into Trish, Chee Yoong, Krystle, Yeung Yoke, Christina, Gavin, and Justin in OU too. Everything's a bit of a blur, I'm feeling very off today. I must have slept too much - 11 hours.

Fucking pissed off because I just highlighted my hair red in Taiping 2 weeks ago and it's already fading. That mofo must have given me semi-permanent dye even though I requested permanent. But *sigh* he's in Taiping, so I can't go hunt him down to do it again for me. Sedey..

I can't wait for this stupid Singaporean drama My Home Affairs to end on ntv7. This has to be one of the most boring Mediacorp productions ever. All the girls are bitches whilst the guys are bastards. It's fucking disgusting and full of nonsense. Most of the characters are scheming twats.

I watched Initial D with Wazir yesterday. Finally, a Chinese movie with hardly any ah mois! Haha. No perving for him this time. :)

Okay, since I've been tagged with this meme by two people now, I'll do it. :P The last time, Leo tagged me and this time it was Jolene.

Total volume of music files on my computer/ Handphone:
4.71 GB on the computer. [okay, I cheated. That included quite a number of my Family Guy episodes too]

the last CD/ringtone I downloaded/bought (I'm not giving any leads man):
Oh gosh. Who buys cds anymore? I honestly can't remember, but it was like 2 years ago or so. As for ringtones, I don't buy them. I use the normal blah nokia ones.

Song/ringtone playing right now.
Franz Ferdinand :: Take Me Out

Five songs/ringtones i listen to a lot/ringtones that I use a lot on this phone:
They're too expensive, since dad took away my postpaid line and gave me this crappy prepaid one.

I'll tag ..

I'm back. :) Internet deprivation can be a scary thing. The trip was fun, but the drive was crazy ass long. It took about 6 hours+ getting there and slightly shorter coming back. We took 2 cars :: My mum drove hers and Sun drove his. Poor Sun's little Kembara. I don't have many pictures from my Redang trip this time since I stayed at the same place and I was damn lazy to take pictures. I know I should've taken more but really, I forgot.

I wasn't feeling well a few days before the trip so I went to see the doctor and she gave me medicine which left me pretty much drowsy the entire trip. Stayed at Redang Kalong again. I spent a lot of time sleeping; even when I was on the boat on the way to and fro snorkelling areas. :P It was so nice when Joe was driving the boat and I sat up front and the wind was so strong and the view was great. Regretted not having my camera at that moment.

Anyway, here ::

I know this has nothing to do with Redang, but I liked the pic. It was taken in whilst the car was moving in Terengganu. Pretty lights. :)

Me and Brynna; Long Beach. It's a bit of a weird picture.

I'm really glad to be back home. I missed KL. I missed Wazir like mad. Two weeks out of town [I went to Taiping last week]; hours in the car... Gosh. It's bloody sickening. I love living in the city, I can't do without the hype. Redang is a nice place to go to for holiday, though. Next stop :: Bangkok, next month [hopefully]. :)

Well class is starting soon so I'd better get ready to leave the house. :P

update :: Yay, Choo cancelled night class today!! His wife is giving birth.. :)
